Samruddhi Platform

Please read these terms carefully before using the Samruddhi platform. By registering or using the app, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. General Platform Usage

• All users must register with valid information.
• The platform is intended for agriculture trade — fruits, vegetables, flowers, and other agri-products.
• Users are responsible for the accuracy of listings, prices, and product details they post.
• Samruddhi reserves the right to remove any listing that violates platform policies.
• Fraudulent listings or impersonation will result in permanent account suspension.

2. Selling

• Sellers must provide accurate product name, quantity, unit, and price.
• All products must meet applicable food safety and quality standards.
• Sellers are responsible for timely delivery or pickup arrangements as agreed with the buyer.
• Sellers must not list products that are expired, unsafe, or misrepresented.
• The platform charges no commission currently; this may change with prior notice.
• Seller contact details (name & mobile) will be visible to verified buyers.

3. Buying

• Buyers must verify product details before confirming a purchase.
• All transactions are between the buyer and seller directly; Samruddhi acts as a facilitator.
• Payments and disputes are to be settled between the buyer and seller.
• Buyers must not attempt to contact sellers outside the platform for fraudulent purposes.
• Buyers agree to the price and quantity as listed at the time of purchase.

4. Mandi (Market Yard)

• Mandi users agree to operate as licensed or registered market participants.
• Mandi listings must reflect real-time availability and price.
• Samruddhi is not responsible for price fluctuations or government-regulated rates.
• Mandi operators must ensure that weigh and quality checks comply with APMC rules.

5. Dealer

• Dealers must have a valid trade license or registration to operate on the platform.
• Dealers act as intermediaries and are responsible for product quality during handling.
• Dealers must not engage in price manipulation or cartel-like behavior.
• Dealer listings must specify whether the product is available for direct sale or negotiation.

6. Farmer

• Farmers can list produce directly from their fields or farms.
• Farmer profiles will indicate "direct from farm" sourcing to enhance buyer trust.
• Samruddhi provides no price guarantee; market rates apply.
• Farmers are encouraged to provide harvest dates and quality certifications where available.

7. Transportation

• Transport service providers must have valid vehicle registration and permits.
• Providers are responsible for timely and safe delivery of goods.
• Any damage to produce during transit must be settled between the transporter and the client.
• Samruddhi is not liable for transportation delays, accidents, or loss of goods.

8. Privacy & Data

• Your mobile number and name are shared with relevant parties for transaction purposes.
• Samruddhi does not sell user data to third parties.
• Profile photos are stored securely and used only to identify users on the platform.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

9. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes between buyers and sellers should first be resolved directly.
• Unresolved disputes can be reported to Samruddhi support for mediation.
• Samruddhi's decision in platform disputes is final.
• Legal disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of local courts.

10. Changes to Terms

• Samruddhi reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
• Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
• Major changes will be notified via app notification or email.

User Privacy & Data Security

At Samruddhi, we are committed to protecting user privacy, maintaining data security, and complying with Google Play Developer Policies. Our application is designed to provide a safe, secure, and transparent platform for buyers, sellers, farmers, wholesalers, transport providers, and other marketplace participants.

Collection and Use of Information

To provide our services, we may collect certain information including mobile number, profile details, business information, product listings, transaction-related information, location data (when permitted by the user), and communication records. This information is collected solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and securing the Samruddhi platform.

Permissions and Sensitive Information

The application requests only those permissions that are necessary for providing core functionality. Any access to device features, location services, camera, storage, or other sensitive information is performed only with the user's consent and in accordance with applicable laws and Google Play policies.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect user information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While no method of electronic storage is completely secure, we continuously work to maintain industry-standard security practices to safeguard user data.

User Data Deletion

Users have the right to request deletion of their account and personal data at any time. Data deletion requests may be submitted through the application or by contacting our support team. Upon verification of the request, we will remove personal information from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. Certain information may remain in secure backups for a limited retention period before being permanently deleted.

Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in fraudulent, deceptive, harmful, abusive, illegal, or unauthorized activities while using the platform. Any misuse of the application, including attempts to access unauthorized systems, distribute malicious content, manipulate marketplace information, or violate applicable laws, may result in suspension or termination of access.

Compliance with Google Play Policies

Samruddhi complies with Google Play Developer Program Policies, including requirements related to user privacy, data security, permissions usage, data minimization, and transparency. We do not sell user personal information to third parties. Any sharing of information with service providers is limited to what is necessary for operating the platform and delivering services to users.
